Published Rates and Charges Policy

1. Minimum Labor Charges

 

 

Maeda Construction Inc. imposes a minimum labor charge equivalent to four (4) hours for any site visit and/or work performed. This minimum charge applies per visit, regardless of the duration of work rendered under such engagement.

 

This minimum labor charge excludes the cost of materials, equipment, or vehicles required for the completion of work. Additionally, a nominal mobilization fee covering overhead and profit may be applied at the discretion of Maeda Construction Inc., separate from labor and material costs.

 

 

 

2. Change Orders

 

2.1 Labor Charges for Change Orders

• Public Sector Projects:

  All change orders associated with public projects shall be governed by and billed in accordance with Westchester County Prevailing Wage Rates, as mandated by applicable labor laws.

​

• Private Residential Projects:

  Labor related to change orders for residential work shall be invoiced at a flat rate of $75.00 USD per hour per worker, exclusive of materials or overhead.

2.2 Non-Labor Charges

​

Charges additional to labor may include, but are not limited to:

 

• Materials

• Equipment rental or usage

• Overhead and profit

• Project management fees

• Temporary facilities and associated soft and hard costs

  All such charges shall be itemized where applicable.​

3. Lester Buildings Design Work

 

 

Initial plan sets for clients requesting Lester Building designs shall be provided at no charge.

​

However, any subsequent revisions, modifications, or redrawings shall be subject to a fee of $125.00 USD per hour, billed in whole-hour increments.

 

 

 

4. Out-of-Area Work

​

For work occurring at locations more than thirty-five (35) miles from the Maeda Construction Inc. business office, the following reimbursements may be requested:

 

• Toll charges incurred during travel

• Meal expenses

• Overnight lodging or accommodations, billed at a per diem rate consistent with the local jurisdiction

5. Rate Revisions

​

Maeda Construction Inc. reserves the right to revise the rates and charges described herein at any time without prior notice. All current rates shall be published and made available through the official company website.
